Quinnie Jenkins

Quinnie Jenkins is a communications and aviation professional who serves as Regional Leader of Community Affairs & Grassroots at Southwest Airlines. In her position, she represents Atlanta, New Orleans and Birmingham. In this role, she is responsible for establishing and strengthening relationships with key businesses, civic, community, and political leaders in markets across the country. 

Prior to joining Southwest Airlines, Quinnie spent six years on the Corporate Communications team at AirTran Airways where she was responsible for all internal communications, corporate volunteerism and serving as company spokesperson, as needed.

Before making her entrance into the aviation industry, she spent time cultivating her communication, marketing and public relations skills as a Public Relations Coordinator at Shepherd Center and Sales & Marketing Assistant at WGCL-CBS 46, both in Atlanta.

A native of New Orleans, LA., Quinnie graduated from Archbishop Chapelle in Metairie, LA. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS.

Quinnie is very active in the Atlanta community and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Chamber and the Advisory Board of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and Usher’s New Look. She has also given her time to numerous charitable organizations such as March of Dimes, Hands on Atlanta, Habitat for Humanity, American Cancer Society and the YWCA of Greater Atlanta. Recognized for both her business and charitable contributions in the community, Quinnie was named a 2015 Bridge Builder by Atlanta Technical College, 2015 Business Leadership Award from Women of Distinction, a Woman of Excellence by Atlanta Daily World and one of Atlanta’s 100 Black Women of Influence by the Atlanta Business League.
