Mr. Jaime Wright has lived in New Orleans for 8 years since moving from Miami, Florida to work with the Army Corps of Engineers. Jaime graduated from Florida State University in 2005 in Civil Engineering and received his Master’s Degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 2006. Jaime is a Quality Assurance Manager with the Army Corps of Engineers New Orleans District. In this role, Jaime monitors construction material testing services such as concrete, soil, and steel for Army Corps projects. He also serves as Orleans/Jefferson Deputy Sector Commander during High River Season with the Army Corps of Engineers.

Jaime Wright is a board member and Co-Chair of Emerging Philanthropists of New Orleans (EPNO), an organization that connects young professionals wanting to become involved in philanthropy. Jaime also completed the Bryan Bell Metropolitan Leadership Forum (BBMLF) in 2015 and Institute of Politics (IOP) in 2016.  He served as the 2016 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) coordinator at Army Corps of Engineers that works to promote philanthropy in the Federal government.

In 2012, Jaime married his wife, Marquita and they have a dog named Deacon. They recently renovated and moved to a home in the Fairgrounds Triangle neighborhood. Jaime grew up in South Florida and is a Miami Heat basketball fan.  During his free time, Jaime enjoys Hot Yoga and working out at City Park.
